Quinton “Rampage” Jackson isn’t done venting yet.
In his latest response to remarks by UFC President Dana White and fellow “TUF 10” coach Rashad Evans, Jackson reiterated his stance on leaving the UFC in order to pursue acting, gave his feelings on Evans and White, and listed the differences between competing for the UFC and PRIDE among other things.

— Rashad Evans says that a light heavyweight clash against fellow contender Thiago Silva could be possible for a UFC event in December or early next year. “Thiago Silva is a good fighter, I’d like to fight him and I think he wants to fight me,” Evans said. “When I saw him after he fought Keith Jardine, he kind of gave me a nasty look that I interpreted like he wanted to take me on, and I’d like that.” [MMA FanHouse]
— Two-time UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia has been forced to withdraw from a scheduled debut with Japan-based DREAM after suffering a broken hand during his first-round TKO of Jason Riley at Adrenaline MMA IV last weekend. According to Sylvia’s manager, Monte Cox, the Miletich Fighting Systems product will now attempt to land a spot on the DREAM and K-1 co-promoted “Dynamite!!” show on New Year’s Eve. [Sherdog.com]

“I’d be disappointed not to fight him. It would be a good fight, a fun fight, but mostly because he talked trash. He got me really angry, and I want to fight him just because of that alone. It’s a fight that people want to see. You get your mind wrapped up, and you get your mind so psyched up about fighting a fighter, and then it doesn’t happen, it’s disappointing.
That’s why I hate making a fight personal. At the end of the day, we’re professional athletes, and we get paid to do a job. But when you get to fight someone you really want to fight, that’s like a bonus. You’d almost do it for free. I would have loved to punch him in the face for free.”
— Former UFC light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans tells Yahoo! Sports that if it were up to him, he wouldn’t mind fighting fellow “TUF 10” coach Quinton “Rampage” Jackson free of charge now that Jackson has opted to retire from the sport in order to focus on acting.

A win over Rich Franklin was expected to make Vitor Belfort an instant contender for Anderson Silva’s UFC middleweight title. But according to UFC President Dana White, Belfort may have positioned himself as the leading candidate for Silva’s next title defense, even before Dan Henderson and Nate Marquardt.
“You know, I think he might be ready now,” White said at last night’s UFC 103 post-fight press conference.

With each passing day, the rumors concerning Quinton “Rampage” Jackson’s possible withdrawal from his UFC 107 bout against fellow “TUF 10” coach Rashad Evans seem to be picking up steam. If the news is true, Evans has yet to know about it.
Evans’ manager, Jervis Cole of Cole Blooded Management, told MMA FanHouse on Sunday that his client has yet to be informed of any change to his scheduled matchup against Jackson. Neither the UFC or Jackson have commented on the situation.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced on Thursday that former UFC light heavyweight champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans would serve as opposing coaches on the upcoming tenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality show.
The show will premiere on Wednesday, September 16 at 10:00 PM ET and will feature a total of 16 heavyweights, who it seems will not be required to fight their way into the house as has been in the case for the past couple of seasons. In addition, the season premiere will be preceded by yet another edition of “UFC Fight Night”.
Production on the show is set to begin in early June.

UFC President Dana White will make one of his patented “special announcements” tomorrow night during the Spike TV broadcast of the “2009 VGAs First Look E3 Special” at 11 PM ET, and all signs point to it being the naming of the coaches for the upcoming tenth season of “The Ultimate Fighter”.
So who exactly will the coaches be? That’s actually a pretty good question at the moment.
According to Fighters Only Magazine, former UFC light heavyweight champions Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Rashad Evans, who quickly created bad blood between one another immediately following Jackson’s decision win over Keith Jardine in March, will serve as the newest set of coaches. However, Jackson was set to receive the next shot at Lyoto Machida, who defeated Evans for the belt this past weekend.
Here comes the confusing part…
