You've seen the UFC Primetime special regarding UFC 148, now here's the reguarly scheduled "Countdown" show, which premiered this evening on FUEL TV. Part one featuring Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen is above. The remainder of the special is after the jump, featuring spotlights on Tito Ortiz vs. Forrest Griffin, Cung Le vs. Patrick Cote and Demian Maia vs. Dong-Hyun Kim.
Patrick Cote continued building a case for a return to the UFC with his fourth straight win, a first-round KO of Gustavo Machado at Amazon Forest Combat II this past weekend. Cote has said that UFC officials asked him to grab a win over a fighter with a decent record and he did just that.
The video after the jump also shows a rare lapse in judgement by ref Mario Yamasaki, who lets Machado eat about 6-8 extra shots after he's out.
