Kondo to Defend His Belt

Veteran fighter Yuki Kondo will be defending his Pancrase belt October 1st as he takes on Jean Francois Lenogue.

Yuki Kondo is a very experienced veteran who has fought in Pride, UFC and Pancrase. He sports an MMA record of 45-18-5 and he constantly faces top notch competition. Kondo’s last fight came in Pancrase August 27th where he defeated Daijiro Matsui.

Jean Francois Lenogue sports an MMA record of 8-5-1 and he is coming off of a draw against Ju Pyo Hong.

Pancrase has added yet another title bout to it’s August 27th card - Yuki Kondo and Daijiro Matsui for the 199 lb King of Pancrase belt.

King of Pancrase: Featherweight Edition

Attempting to determine the best featherweight in the organization, Pancrase held the first round of a four-man tournament at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo on Tuesday. Yoshiro Maeda and Daiki Hata were both triumphant, earning the two a spot in the championship round of the tournament which will take place on August 27th.
