UFC 154: St. Pierre vs. Condit Weigh-In Results

All of the participants for the UFC 154: St. Pierre vs. Condit card successfully made weight in preparation for their bouts Saturday at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

The event will be headlined by a UFC welterweight title unification bout featuring current champion Georges St. Pierre and interim champion Carlos Condit. The co-main event will feature a number one contender bout between Martin Kampmann and Johny Hendricks.

The Daily Recap: Two Bouts Set for UFC 145, Ken Stone Catches Injury Bug & More

— The UFC today announced a pair of bouts for UFC 145, which is slated for the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on March 24. Mark Hominick will attempt to bounce back from a devastating knockout loss to Chan Sung Jung in a featherweight bout against California fight scene veteran Eddie Yagin. In addition, skilled grappler Mark Bocek will lock horns in a pivotal lightweight affair against "Ultimate Fighter" alumnus Matt Wiman. [UFC.com]

— Just one day after it was announced that Ken Stone would face Mike Easton on the undercard of UFC on FX 1, the Massachusetts native has been forced to withdraw from the bout due to an undisclosed injury suffered during a recent training session. Previewing UFC 140: The Main Card

It's hard to believe that another major UFC event is upon us, but UFC 140 is just days away. Emanating from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, the UFC's second visit to what could be MMA's biggest fan base features Jon Jones making the second defense of the UFC light heavyweight title against the ever-elusive Lyoto Machida.

Other high-profile main card bouts include a pivotal rematch between former heavyweight champions and opposing "TUF" coaches Frank Mir and Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira as well as Tito Ortiz attempting to stave off retirement once more against the younger Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

Live Video: UFC 129 Press Conference

The UFC will be holding a special press conference at the Rogers Centre today at 1 PM ET in anticipation of UFC 129: St. Pierre vs Shields, which will mark Toronto, Ontario, Canada's first UFC event on April 30.

UFC President Dana White, UFC Canada Director Tom Wright, UFC welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre, Jake Shields, UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and Mark Hominick will all be in attendance.

Aldo-Hominick, Couture-Machida Official for UFC 129 in Toronto

Two additional co-headlining bouts have been officially announced for the UFC's inaugural foray into Toronto, Ontario, Canada for UFC 129 on April 30.

Jose Aldo will defend his UFC featherweight title against fellow striker Mark Hominick and UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture returns to face Lyoto Machida in an intriguing light heavyweight bout.

The previously rumored matchups were posted on UFC.com today.

Guillard Upsets Dunham at “Troops II”

Melvin Guillard promises that he'll be either fighting for the UFC lightweight title or going undefeated for a second straight year in 2011. He's off to a running start.

Guillard put on one of his most impressive performances to date, easily dispatching of the world-ranked Evan Dunham with a barrage of punches and knees in the first round of their main event bout at the UFC's second "Fight for the Troops" event at Fort Hood, TX.

"I want my title shot. I'm the dark horse in this game at 155. No disrespect to anybody in my weight class, but I am the best 155-pound fighter in the UFC," Guillard said after the fight. "You keep lining them up and I'll keep knocking them down, and I will go undefeated in 2011, and I will get a title by the end of 2011 or by 2012 at the latest."

UFC Fight for the Troops II Live Results

We will be going live at 6:20 PM ET with live results of tonight's "UFC Fight for the Troops II" event, which takes place at the Fort Hood military complex just outside of Killeen, TX.

The card is headlined by a lightweight duel between Melvin Guillard and Evan Dunham. Preliminary bouts will be streamed at Facebook.com/UFC at 7 PM ET and the main is televised live on Spike starting at 9 PM ET.

All Fighters on Weight for “Troops II”

All 22 combatants for tomorrow night's UFC Fight for the Troops II event officially made weight during weigh-ins this afternoon at the Fort Hood military base just outside of Killeen, TX.

A total of eleven fights are scheduled for the card, spearheaded by a main event lightweight duel between Evan Dunham and replacement opponent Melvin Guillard. Matt Mitrione and Tim Hague will collide in the co-headliner. The show benefits the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

Previewing UFC Fight Night 23: Main Card

The UFC will hold their second event of the new year this Saturday in the form of UFC Fight Night 23, (or UFC Fight for the Troops II, whatever you want to call it really) which will take place at the Fort Hood military post just outside of Killeen, in hopes of raising money for the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund.

A total of eleven fights are scheduled for the card, spearheading by a main event lightweight duel between Evan Dunham and replacement opponent Melvin Guillard. Matt Mitrione and Tim Hague will collide in the co-headliner.

Here is a look at the event's main card, which also features a strikers duel between Pat Barry and Joey Beltran as well as a battle between Mark Hominick and George Roop with UFC featherweight title implications on the line.

Quick Hits: Huerta Considering UFC Return, Vasquez to Replace Hominick & More

— Despite announcing his intention to focus on his acting career full-time, UFC lightweight contender Roger Huerta is now considering a full-time return to the organization following a split decision loss to Gray Maynard at last week’s UFC Fight Night 19 that fulfilled his latest UFC contract. “I can’t go out with two losses in a row,” Huerts said. “I don’t think I’m going to call it quits anytime soon. I’m still open to acting. Hopefully we get something going with that, but I’m not going to prioritize acting now. I’ll still prioritize fighting. If the UFC wants me back, I’d be willing to go back.” [Sherdog.com]

— Seasoned veteran Javier Vasquez has been tapped to replace an injured Mark Hominick against Deividas Taurosevicius in a featherweight bout at WEC 43 on October 10 in San Antonio, Texas. Hominick will reportedly be sidelined for about a month due to a reoccurring back injury. Vasquez fell in his WEC debut last month, dropping a split decision to L.C. Davis at WEC 42. [MMA Junkie]
