Another pair of bouts have been booked for UFC 159, which takes place on April 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
A pivotal middleweight matchup between recently defeated contenders Michael Bisping and Alan Belcher will serve as the show's co-main event. In addition, durable lightweight Jim Miller will welcome Strikeforce contender Pat Healy back to the UFC.
The UFC confirmed the bouts as official this afternoon.

Recent UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz will welcome former Strikeforce lightweight champion Josh Thomson back to the UFC in a lightweight affair slated for UFC on FOX 7, which is scheduled to take place on April 20 at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California.
The UFC officially announced the bout this afternoon.
Thomson has not competed in the UFC since a three-fight stint that ended at UFC 49 in August 2004 when Thomson suffered a highlight-reel KO loss to Yves Edwards by way of a flying head kick.

The dust has settled following another edition of the UFC on FOX. Out of it came another promise of a lightweight title shot to Anthony Pettis, the first defense of the UFC flyweight title, the end of Rampage's days in the UFC and the coming out party for a trio of rising stars.
What comes next for those victorious at UFC on FOX 6 can only be speculated. Still, it's always fun to play the guessing game.
After the jump are some predictions on what matchups we may see in the future from this group.

After three straight wins over a trio of the UFC's toughest and most durable lightweights, including a first-round TKO of Donald Cerrone at UFC on FOX 6 last night, former WEC champion Anthony Pettis is content to wait for a shot at the UFC lightweight belt if a crack at it is set in stone for him.
"If it's a guaranteed title shot, I'm waiting," Pettis said at the event's post-fight press conference. "That's what my goals are. It's one of my goals this year. If it's next, I'm going to wait, get better and get what's mine."
Pettis has been guaranteed a UFC title shot once before. As the last reigning WEC lightweight champion, Pettis was slated to meet the winner of a January 2011 title fight between then champion Frankie Edgar and rival Gray Maynard.

Demetrious Johnson successfully defended his UFC flyweight title on Saturday night, but took all he could handle from prepared challenger John Dodson in the main event of Saturday night's UFC on FOX 6.
The 16,091 in attendance at United Center in Chicago witnessed Dodson drop the champ thrice within the first two rounds, only for Johnson to storm back with a relentless attack in the later rounds.
"I got dazed a little bit," Johnson said after the fight. "It's going to happen. It's like swimming, you're gonna get splashed. I'm going to get hit."

In what is now becoming a yearly tradition, the UFC returns to Chicago in January for UFC on FOX 6, which takes place Saturday night at the United Center.
The UFC's latest network television special is headlined by another title fight. This time the flyweights take the stage as Demetrious Johnson defends his belt for the first time against fellow speedster and top contender John Dodson. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson will also fight for what could be the last time in the UFC, taking on rising light heavyweight Glover Teixeira.
My predictions are after the jump.

Ben Askren is evolving.
On a night that many expected Askren's smothering top position and submissions to do Karl Amoussou in, it was Askren's new ground-and-pound that put away the Frenchman in his latest Bellator welterweight title defense in the main event of Bellator 86 on Thursday night at the Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma.
Prior to the bout, Askren predicted a finish and he delivered. It was his second stoppage under the Bellator banner and his first since he submitted Ryan Thomas in his promotional debut back in April 2010.
