Well, it's been a hell of a day to say the least. Let's get to it.

Jason "Mayhem" Miller was arrested today in an Orange County, California church after police found the building broken into, covered in fire extinguisher spray, various materials broken and scattered all over and "Mayhem" sitting naked on a couch. The arrest comes just a couple of days after he and UFC president Dana White got into a spat on Twitter, which ended up with Miller telling White to kill himself at one point.

I've already seen some comments from people saying that "Mayhem" is punch drunk or on drugs. It's sad. I really don't hope that is the case. And for some reason, part of me really wants to give him the benefit of the doubt here. We all know he's had a history of problems. Terrible childhood on top of being a generally wild dude for years. He's spoken openly about suffering from depression and stuff like that. Had the whole incident with his sister last year, plus more in the past.

I heard that he was in a bad place even before the Twitter back-and-forth with Dana White this weekend and now this. I'm sure a lot of it has to do with his poor showing in his return to the UFC, plus getting cut over what Dana says was a backstage ordeal caused by him. Who knows.

Either way, I hope he gets some help. It's sad to see him like this.

With only a few options left concerning Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz's future opponents, the Stockton, California native will now likely face Paul Daley later this year, provided Daley gets past Yuya Shirai at a BAMMA show on February 26.

Despite Daley's success around the world, including an impressive 2-1 stint in the UFC, Diaz wasn't "impressed" with his potential foe's skills.

"I'm not really impressed with Paul Daley as a mixed martial artist," Diaz said during last night's post-fight press conference for "Diaz vs. Cyborg". "He's got great stand-up, but I wouldn't judge him from the Scott Smith fight.

As always, reigning Strikeforce welterweight champion Nick Diaz had a lot on his mind just a week ahead of his scheduled showdown against Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos on January 29 in San Jose, CA.

During a conference call with the media today, Diaz touched on a number of topics and discussed his opponent, but the majority of the focus came from the ongoing saga between Diaz and rival Jason "Mayhem" Miller as another potential meeting between the two fell apart during talks last month.

"I wouldn't mind moving up [to middleweight]. I'd just like to get paid for it, you know?" Diaz said about a bout with Miller. "I don't like when I hear people say I didn't accept the fight Miller because I was too small. I never said anything about that. I said if I'm going to go off-track and screw with my whole season and it's going to screw with my whole year and screw with my capabilities fighting at 170, then I'm going to have to get paid in full."
